The men’s tournament will start with the preliminary round matches on the first two days of the competition. Out of the 16 participating teams, only 12 of them will continue to the main round on 11 and 12 October.
The quarter-finals on 12 October will settle the semi-finalists, who will duel on Sunday, 13 October, at 11:30 CEST. Later that day, the match for third place will reveal the bronze medallists at 15:30 CEST, while the new champions will be crowned in the final that takes place at 17:00 CEST. The women’s tournament will follow the same pattern, with the opening two days being reserved for the preliminary round matches. After the main round on 11 and 12 October, eight teams will fight in the quarter-finals on 12 October afternoon.
The semi-finals are scheduled for Sunday, 13 October, at 12:15 CEST. On the same day, we’ll find out the bronze winners at 16:15 CEST in the 3/4 placement match and the titleholders in the big final at 17:45 CEST. The full schedule can be viewed here.
