Next stage of World Championship qualifiers on the line
The first contest for European teams on the path to the 2025 IHF Women’s World Championship is approaching, with phase 1 of the qualifiers taking place from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 October. 12 teams will battle it out for four places in phase 2, where the aggregate winners of a series of two-leg play-offs will secure spots at the World Championship, to be held in the Netherlands and Germany.
The 12 teams in phase 1 are Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Estonia, Great Britain, Israel, Kosovo and Luxembourg.
