Court of Handball suspends player due to Anti-Doping violation

During the ebt Finals 2024 in Lacanau, France, a Polish player has tested positive on the substance GW1516 (Hormone and Metabolic Modulators). A provisional suspension was imposed on the player shortly after the competition.

The EHF Court of Handball has reviewed the relevant documents and decided that the player shall be suspended for two years. The period of the provisional suspension shall be credited and half of the suspension is imposed on a suspended basis.

An appeal may be filed to the EHF Court of Appeal within seven days.
