HIGHLIGHT MATCHES
St Amand HB-Porte du Hainaut progress on aggregate (59:56)
St Amand began the match on a high and derailed Vác's plans for making an early comeback in the tie, as Eva Mbata scored in the seventh minute to give Edina Borsos Szabo's squad a four-goal lead (7:3). With the Hungarian club on the brink, László György's team strengthened the defence ahead of the break and Vác managed to take a narrow advantage (12:11) at half-time. In the 38th minute, Gréta Éva Juhasz found the back of the net to completely nullify (18:16) St Amand's advantage in the tie, but a four-goal scoring run between the 44th and 47th minute decided the match in the French club's favour, with Elisa Techer and her teammates building a crucial three-goal lead (23:20). Vác attempted to get back into the tie once again, but without success, although Dóra Szilvia Kellermann finished as the match's top scorer with seven goals.
